History

It all began inside a nonprofit organization. Brad Cecil’s first job out of college was serving an international nonprofit organization based in New York. Like any nonprofit leader, fundraising and development were a part of his job description – they also became his passion.

Brad moved to Dallas to attend graduate school and became the director of a nonprofit organization serving youth and families. It was in this position that fundraising and development became an even greater focus. After years of raising money for his own organization, Brad started consulting other organizations on how to improve their fundraising communication. The successes he saw and his growing passion for not only his own organization’s work, but the good work of others, would eventually lead to Brad Cecil & Associates.

Brad Cecil & Associates was formed in 1998 to help organizations with their fundraising communication and organizational development. The company has grown into a staff of skilled specialists and has the privilege of serving some of the most significant nonprofit organizations in the country. Today Brad Cecil & Associates works with it’s nonprofit clients by providing strategic counsel, data analysis, direct mail, digital fundraising, newsletters, major donor development, planned giving communication, marketing communication, organizational development and more.
